In this tutorials i'm going to show you that how you can easily protect your personal files and folders with most widely used software Folder Guard v7.92.With this software you can easily add encryption to any folder, file or even hard drive. This software runs perfectly on Vista, XP, 2000, Servers. So let's start the lesson.

1. First of all download the Folder Guard v7.92. After download definitely you need to install it and it's easy.

2. After that you have to open up the installed software from desktop. And put the master password.

3. Now the main part comes up, first select any folder or drive that you want to lock then click the lock icon in toolbar which is highlighted in the picture below:

4. Now it will ask you the password that you want to use for the selected item. Type whatever you want.

5. Now close the software if you want to do it's work perfectly, remember to check highlighted box.

6. Now try to open the folder that you selected for encryption.
